V St. Petersburg International Legal Forum

In anticipation of fifth anniversary St. Petersburg International Legal Forum has gone through rebranding — the website has changed its interface, the General Staff Headquarters Building, printing products and souvenir presents were decorated in accordance with new style. The three-story sized stage was specifically projected and constructed in Hermitage building for arrangement of the Plenary Session.
Numerous international treaties on legal cooperation were signed at the level of Ministers of Justice during the Forum, and the award ceremony with participating Prime Minister of the Russian Federation took place as well.
The Forum was observed by more than 400 correspondents, who took part in both business events and in more than 30 press events. More than 1500 news reports were issued about Forum.
All events of the Forum’s business programme were transmitted online. More than 20 000 viewers from 60 countries were following the broadcast.
In the course of cultural programme participants were invited to the D.D. Shostakovich St. Petersburg Academic Philarmonia to enjoy the concert performed by Denis Matsuev and Hibla Gerzmava, which was followed by reception in the Grand Hotel Europe. „Legal Drink” evening became the new format for networking: several law firms, partners of the Forum, hold their reception in 10 bars and restaurants on Rubinshteina street. The gala dinner took place on the territory of plant „Arsenal” and was decorated in the theme of 20’s of the XX century.
All guests of the Forum were given elegant presents in honor of the Forum’s anniversary. Italian company Conti & Vanneli, which designs accessories for the haute-couture fashion houses, has created limited exclusive collection of cuff links „Legal Forum”.

The St. Petersburg International Legal Forum is the first and only platform of its kind for discussing the most pressing current legal issues relating to worldwide social and economic challenges. The Forum’s primary mission is to promote ideas for modernizing the law in response to global changes.
Ministers of Justice, Chairmen of Supreme Courts, General Secretaries of international organizations, in-house attorneys of leading companies and other members of the international legal community participate in the Forum every year.
