The event was aimed at drawing the attention of Russian lawyers and businessmen to problems of legal regulation in the Northwest Region. The Forum was organized on behalf of the Arkhangelsk Regional Government and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, with the support of the Russian Ministry of Justice and the Lomonosov Northern (Arctic) Federal University. During the Forum two plenary sessions and six round-table discussions were held. Around 100 participants attended the Forum. The event was held on July 3-4, 2014 in Arkhangelsk, Russia.
