On March 30, 2021 a discussion session on Digitalization of International Trade was held on the LF Talks online platform. The event was organized by the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Center for International and Comparative Legal Studies.

At the discussion session, leading Russian and foreign experts considered three main areas of digitalization of international trade and relevant legal issues:

• digital trading platforms (including online aggregators);
• digital trade documents;
• automated conclusion of contracts (including smart contracts).
