III St. Petersburg International Legal Forum
On May 15-18, 2013 over 2500 of people from 63 countries attended III St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, including 21 official delegations. The programme of the Forum comprised the Plenary Session and 56 discussion sessions. The Plenary Session was held on the new stage of the Mariinsky Theatre. The discussion sessions were hosted in the East Wing of the General Staff Building.
As part of the cultural programme guests saw Slava Polunin’s “Snow Show”, as well as the performances in the Mariinsky theatre (first night of “The Rites of Spring” ballet, “The Prodigal Son”, “Eugene Onegin”).
St. Petersburg International Legal Forum is the first and only platform of its kind for discussing the most pressing current legal issues relating to worldwide social and economic challenges. The Forum’s primary mission is to promote ideas for modernizing the law in response to global changes.
Ministers of Justice, Chairmen of Supreme Courts, General Secretaries of international organizations, in-house attorneys of leading companies and other members of the international legal community participate in the Forum every year.
